You want the latest and most efficient solar hot water technology so don’t settle for anything less than a highly efficient evacuated tube solar hot water system from Solus.

Solus hot water systems offer high efficiency and cost effective hot water for homes, schools, swimming pools, commercial and large scale water heating.

Solus Hot Water Systems

Solus Integrated systems require no pumps or separate ground mounted tanks, while Solus Split systems feature ground level tanks for maximum water storage and roof space optimisation.

Gas or electric backup to the tank means that you always have hot water at the temperature you need, and use up to 80% less energy for hot water heating.

Efficient evacuated tubes

Evacuated tube solar hot water systems offer better performance and collect more available sunlight than the older, more traditional flat panels. This gives you more hot water and less backup power or gas required.

Heat Pumps

Midea Air Source Heat Pump Hot Water Systems turn ambient warm air into hot water while using up to 65% less energy that conventional water heaters.

Committed to providing sustainable hot water solutions, Midea heat pumps can make savings appear out of thin air.

How it works

  1. A fan draws warm air into the top of the system and across the evaporator
  2. The evaporator turns a liquid refrigerant into a gas
  3. The compressor pressurises the refrigerant into a hot gas
  4. The hot gas inside the condenser coil heats the water inside the coil-wrapped tank
  5. The refrigerant reverts back to a liquid after heating the water

Built for efficiency

With water heating accounting for nearly a quarter of the energy use in an average Australian home, an efficient hot water system is the perfect way to reduce energy consumption and cost of living.

Because heat pumps are ideal for homes where rooftop solar hot water systems are not viable. You can even use excess power from your solar panels to heat your hot water during the day rather than feeding it into the grid!
